The short version

  • We collect what we need to run a marketplace and an escrow, and no more.
  • Your phone number is never shown to sellers. It is used to reach you about a delivery.
  • Identity checks are done by our escrow provider. We see whether you passed, not your documents.
  • We never sell your data.
  • You can delete your account at any time.

What we collect

Your name, handle, email address and phone number.

What you buy and sell, and the messages you send in orders and shows.

Whether your identity and bank account were verified. Not the documents themselves.

Basic device and usage information, so we can keep the app working.

Why we collect it

To run your account, take payments into escrow and release them.

To let a seller reach you about a delivery.

To decide disputes fairly, using the record of what was said and paid.

To meet obligations our payment and escrow partners are under.

Who we share it with

Our escrow provider, who holds the money and verifies identity.

Service providers who help us send email and keep the app running.

Law enforcement or regulators where the law requires it.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it for advertising.

Your rights

You can see and correct your information in the app.

You can delete your account at any time. Order records survive without your name attached, because they are the evidence of who paid whom.

You can ask us what we hold about you by contacting [[email protected]].

Keeping it safe

Payment details never touch our servers — they go to our payment provider.

Access to your data inside Glimr is limited to what a job needs, and privileged actions are logged.
